Officially opened on November 21, 1972 and closed on June 30, 2004, Queen Elizabeth Park High School was the first high school built on the west side of the Town of Oakville.
Belovedly known to students and teachers as simply “QEP,” our school had many firsts, including Grades 7 and 8 in the same building, open concept classrooms and a large swimming pool. Known for sports and music, QEP and a great culture, fantastic teachers, and dedicated support staff.
As we have just passed the 50th Anniversary of the school, we figured there is no time like the present to invite former teachers, students, admin and support staff for a Celebration of all things QEP!
“Going back in time and celebrating the 70s, 80s, 90's and more!!” All of us at QEP had the opportunity to go to a fantastic school with great teachers, fantastic staff and incredible friends.
We want to bring that experience back for one night of dinner and dancing until 1am. Come out for some great fun and reminisce with your classmates.
Dinner is open seating and a marche-style with food stations throughout. Cash bars will be open with premium beer, wine and liquor choices available, as well as soft drinks, juice and water.
Get up, grab a drink, enjoy the food and mingle to the music!
Keep your ticket stubs as we will be drawing door prizes throughout the night with a few other surprises thrown in!
When you first come in, we will get everyone to sign in, grab a wrist band and, of course, a QEP name tag!
Doors open at 6:30 pm with registration and hors d'oeuvres. Sign the Registration Wall, pose for a photo in front of the QEP backdrop and mingle to the music of our very own QEP DJ Mark Foreman.
In addition, a couple of other events are being planned for those staying for the weekend, including a bowling event and golf tournament.
Pending weather, patios will be open and you don’t want to miss the retro ice cream truck for something sweet!
Starting Monday, April 3, 2023 tickets are available on sale for $100.00 per person.
Simply fill in the online Registration form and send your payment via e-transfer to qepreunion2024@gmail.com.
For those living outside of Canada, you can fill in the Registration form and in the notes let us know you are out-of-country. Your payment can be made via money order, but we need to receive it within 30 days in order to hold your ticket.
Upon receipt of payment, you will receive a confirmation email and tickets will be mailed directly to you. Due to the overwhelming demand and venue capacity of 800, tickets are available on a first come basis.
Tickets are non-refundable, but are transferable.
While this may not be an “all-nighter” that you might remember from your high school days, we want to you to come out and enjoy yourself.
So, please consider staying over and booking your rooms at our host hotel, the Holiday Inn.
They have kindly offered QEP some special room rates and have plenty of parking.
Breakfast is available on an individual purchase basis between select hours on Saturday and Sunday.
Room registration will be open starting June 1, 2023 and will include:
